Corner sofa and sectional cleaning

For a corner sofa, send the length of both sides and a photo of the whole piece. That lets us account for the chaise, separate sections and loose cushions.

How to measure

Note the length of both sides and the depth of the chaise. A full photo is more useful than close-ups without scale. Tell us whether the modules separate and which rear surfaces are accessible.

Storage and sofa-bed sections

Storage compartments, pull-out beds and loose back cushions are not captured by external dimensions alone. List these in the quote. Mechanisms, metal parts and electrical components need protection from moisture; furniture should not be dismantled without agreement.

Access and drying

Clear the route to the sofa. Do not move heavy modules unnecessarily: first agree which sides need cleaning. Large upholstered sections can dry unevenly. Check seams and thick cushions before pushing everything back together.

Measure both sides and show every module

Seat count alone often understates a corner sofa. Measure the overall length of both sides and send a front view. A long chaise, separate footstool or pull-out bed changes the area to be cleaned. For a U-shaped sofa, include all three sides.

Show loose back cushions and the joins between modules too. Whether sections can be separated depends on the construction. Do not release unfamiliar connectors just to prepare for the visit. We first establish which surfaces can be reached without dismantling the sofa.

Assess the most-used seats separately

A favourite seat, the lounging corner and less-used sections can have very different soiling. We assess visible marks and previously treated patches before starting a compatible method. Suitable fabric can receive dry soil removal, appropriate pretreatment and extraction with careful liquid recovery.

Deep seams and joins need attention during cleaning and drying. Treating the visible upholstery does not mean the frame or every internal layer has been reached. If smell from inside a cushion is the main problem, mention it in the initial enquiry so the scope can address that concern.

Space for work and drying

Move the coffee table and small belongings out of the working area. Establish whether a side will remain against the wall and where removable cushions can dry. Damp cushions should not block the only walkway. A pull-out sleeping section also needs enough room in its open position.

Leave treated surfaces uncovered and use them once dry. The final check concerns the agreed surfaces and any remaining marks. Worn edges, colour loss and faulty bed mechanisms are repair issues; more cleaning will not correct them.

Price guide

Minimum order: €129

These are starting prices for private customers. The total depends on the agreed surfaces and material suitability. Mention loose cushions, outer backs, sofa-bed sections and additional mattress surfaces in your enquiry. Travel and any parking charges are confirmed from your postcode and shown in the quote before the visit. We agree extra work with you before starting it.
